Algérie: des membres du mouvement kabyle MAK arrêtés pour des soupçons de perturbation des législatives
Le ministère algérien de la Défense annonce qu'un « groupe criminel » composé de six individus appartenant au mouvement MAK, Mouvement pour l'autodétermination de la Kabylie en Algérie, a été arrêté lundi 13 juillet. Quatre éléments de ce groupe qui s'activaient dans la région de Tizi-Ouzou sont de nationalité marocaine et résident illégalement en Algérie, indique le ministère. Ils sont accusés d’avoir voulu perturber le bon déroulement des législatives qui ont eu lieu le 2 juillet sans plus d'explications. esporist.org
Game-breaker boosts Ireland for All Blacks clash
Ireland have made two changes to the team that beat the Wallabies two weeks ago for Saturday’s Nations Championship Test against the All Blacks at Eden Park.
Robert Baloucoune comes onto the right wing, with Jimmy O’Brien shifting to the left wing and Jamie Osborne omitted.
Tadhg Beirne is restored to the blindside flank in place of Cian Prendergast to add further experience to a Test-hardened pack.
Veteran Munster forward Beirne came off the bench in Sydney as he was nursing a niggle.
The 34-year-old was deemed fit enough to be named captain for last week’s 36-20 win over Japan in Newcastle, when coach Andy Farrell chose to rest a number of his key players.
Baloucoune had been named to start in Sydney but withdrew before kick-off with a hamstring strain which also sidelined him from the Japan clash.
The 28-year-old Ulster flyer burst onto the scene in this year’s Six Nations for runners-up Ireland, impressing with his speed and footwork, while scoring two tries.
The starting side features 11 players from Leinster.
It will be a third straight start for five players – O’Brien, midfielder Stuart McCloskey, No 8 Jack Conan, lock James Ryan and prop Tom O’Toole.
Hooker Dan Sheehan returns to captain the side in the injury absence of regular skipper Caelan Doris, who missed the tour with injury.
New Zealand and Ireland, ranked second and third in the world, have both won two-from-two matches in the Nations Championship.
Earlier this week, Farrell said his side would need to unearth the “performance of our lives” if they were to become the first side to beat the All Blacks at Eden Park since 1994.

ALG : Trois clubs se renseignent sur Hadj Moussa
L’avenir d’Anis Hadj Moussa pourrait s’écrire loin de Rotterdam dans les prochaines semaines. Selon le média néerlandais spécialisé FR12, plusieurs clubs européens suivent avec attention la situation de l’international algérien, même si aucune offre officielle n’est encore parvenue sur le bureau des dirigeants du Feyenoord. Le club néerlandais aurait déjà reçu plusieurs demandes d’informations concernant les conditions d’un éventuel
transfert. Parmi les formations intéressées figurent Sunderland en Angleterre, Côme en Italie ainsi que le Paris FC en France. Ces clubs souhaitent évaluer la faisabilité d’une opération pour l’ailier algérien, auteur de prestations remarquées sous les couleurs du Feyenoord.
Déjà courtisé par Al-Ahli lors du précédent mercato, Hadj Moussa avait vu le club saoudien essuyer un refus. La direction sportive du vice-champion des Pays-Bas privilégie en effet une vente vers un championnat européen majeur, avec une préférence pour la Premier League. Feyenoord, de son côté, ne compte pas brader son international algérien et réclamerait au minimum 30 millions d’euros pour ouvrir la porte à un transfert.

Adaptable veteran Cobus Reinach ready to rumble for Boks against Wales
Experienced Springbok scrumhalf Cobus Reinach is having to adapt his game late in his career and he will be aiming to show he is back at full strength when he starts for the Boks in their Nations Championship clash against Wales in Durban on Saturday.
Reinach has battled a couple of injuries this year, which limited him to just six appearances for the Stormers over the second half of the franchise season, and he made his comeback with a 14-minute cameo for the Boks against England at the start of the month.
The 36-year-old is well known for his blistering pace, which he has used regularly to rack up 19 tries in 51 appearances for the Boks, and with him on the verge of 100 Test points, he may need to find a different way to get over the line now.
“My groin problem was coming for a year or two (and needed surgery), then I hurt my knee against Glasgow (in the URC), which was most unfortunate,” explained Reinach.
“But it all comes down to international rugby, you try to get ready and be available to get picked. So if you get the opportunity you want to do a job. The injuries are behind me, and now it is time to play.
“After this year, it (pace) is something I need to work on now. Not because of my age, but because of my groin operations and all of that.
“It takes a while for everything to settle and for me to feel comfortable putting a lot of force into the ground. But yeah, I’m feeling comfortable at the moment, and now it’s time to build on that. Getting back into it.”
Not leaning on past performances
The Springboks have picked up big wins in their last four games over the past three years against Wales, and another convincing result should be on the cards this weekend.
In 2023 in Cardiff the Boks picked up a 52-16 win, in 2024 they beat them in London (41-13) and Cardiff (45-12), while last year in Cardiff two weakened teams battled it out, with the Boks clinching a thumping 73-0 win.
But Reinach said the national team were not focused on any of those results, and that it was a completely new game in a new season, they had new goals to achieve, and if they were not switched on they could be shocked.
“We do not talk about what we have done before. We focus on what we need to do now to get better as a squad. There are always work-ons,” said Reinach.
“What has happened can change in a blink of an eye. If we don’t pitch up on Saturday, it is not going to just happen, and they will turn us over if we are not switched on.
“We know we have to be 100 percent on our game, every game. It does not matter who you play and where you play them. It is all about us, our standards, and what we want to put on the field in front of our supporters.”
