Reported Kramer Departure Clears Path for Mostafa Mohamed

Mostafa Mohamed is closer to joining Konyaspor after Blaž Kramer agreed Antalyaspor move, clearing the way for the Egyptian’s transfer.

Konyaspor and Antalyaspor have reached an agreement over Kramer, according to Anadolu’da Bugün. The Slovenian is expected to say goodbye to his Konyaspor teammates before travelling to Antalya for a medical and completing his contract.

Antalyaspor president Mustafa Ergün confirmed that his club had reached an agreement with Kramer, although he left open the possibility of a late complication.

“Unless a last-minute obstacle emerges, we have agreed with him,” Ergün said. The development removes the principal obstacle facing Mohamed’s return to Turkey.

Konyaspor official Ali Camgöz previously said the club had agreed a transfer with Nantes but would complete it only after Kramer left.

“If Kramer leaves, we will sign Mohamed,” Camgöz said, after KingFut reported that the clubs had agreed a fee of approximately €1 million for the Egypt international.

Kramer’s future had remained uncertain after negotiations over a new Konyaspor contract stalled. The 30-year-old reportedly requested an improved salary and an additional three years, while the club offered a two-year extension.

Mostafa Mohamed has one year remaining on his Nantes contract and has trained away from the senior squad since returning late for pre-season.

The former Zamalek forward scored four goals in 24 Ligue 1 appearances last season as Nantes suffered relegation. His contract reportedly includes a salary reduction following their drop to the second tier.

Mostafa joined Nantes on loan from Galatasaray in 2022 before completing a permanent transfer worth about €6 million the following year.

He has recorded 29 goals and eight assists in 136 appearances for the French club. A move to Konyaspor would return him to the Süper Lig, where he scored 17 times in 58 matches for Galatasaray.
